I painted this for our dining room and simply because I like artichokes! There's not much more to it, other than I used this to practice contrast and light.

I had this piece in our house until we moved and in our current home, we don't have room for it. I custom framed it to match the painting, it is very traditional but I think contrasted well with our modern dining room set. It was a very expensive frame and I feel I am giving it away, but is better if this is in somebody's wall vs our basement!
