HI! I'M MOISES
I was born in Mexico City and moved to the US in 1999. I am currently based in the Cleveland, OH area. I've spent my career in corporate America but have always loved and practiced visual arts. I am a self-taught artist with a primary focus on oil and watercolor painting and photography.
I adopted the alias "Don Moi" after my grandfather Moises De Luca Pecorelli whom I loved and respected. He was the first person that infused seeds of creativity in me. People used to call him "Don Moi." Don is a prefix used in Spanish to imply respect, courtesy and status, Moi (not the french word) is simply short for Moises. I chose Don Moi as my artistic nickname, not because I am asking people to refer to me with respect but because it reminds me of the high standard of love, ethics and respect my grandfather represented and that I must live up to.
