I was born in the urban jungle of Mexico City and later moved to the United States in 1999. Although my professional career has been rooted in Corporate America, my passion has always been the world of visual arts.

As an architect by training, I discovered a unique connection between the precision and creativity required by architecture and the expressive freedom that the arts offer. My journey as a self-taught artist has been a natural extension of my architectural background, allowing me to explore new dimensions of form, color, and emotion.

With a deep passion for painting, primarily focused on oil painting and photography, I have evolved over time from my watercolor roots to find my voice and express my vision through the rich textures and vibrant colors of oil.

My artistic persona, "Don Moi," pays tribute to my beloved grandfather, Moises De Luca Pecorelli, whose influence sparked the seeds of creativity within me. Fondly known as "Don Moi" by those around him, he embodied values of love, integrity, and respect. I adopted this moniker to remind myself daily of the high standards he upheld and the legacy of excellence I aspire to embody.

I invite you to join me on this artistic journey as I continue to explore the depths of oil painting, photography, and beyond. My website celebrates all my creative endeavors, where each piece tells a story and invites you to be part of the conversation.
